7 of my FAVORITE tips to manifest what you want (easier, faster + with more fun)

Happy 1/11!

In numerology, the number 1 represents new beginnings, intention, moving forward, and “starting” energy — but it also represents manifestation. It’s especially strong when seen in doubles or pairs, like 11, 111, or 1111.

That’s why they say it’s so synchronistic to see 11:11 on the clock, or why you should “make a wish.” It’s really a reminder from the universe that the thoughts/vibrations you’re focusing your energy on are what create your reality, so you should take that moment to realign with what you DO want to create in your life. AKA a wish AKA manifestation, baby

Much like November 11 (11/11) of any year, I see January 11 as little portal where our intentions and manifestations are especially potent and powerful.

So today, I thought I’d share 7 of my favorite tips, to-do’s, and things I’ve learned that have helped me a TON in manifesting, so you can *take advantage* of this mini-magical day (and all the other days of the year, really).

1. Know your unique manifestation style.

In Human Design, everyone is built for different “styles” of manifesting. This will make it a LOT easier to not just “figure out” what you want, but align yourself with that thing in the most powerful, effective way possible.

You have 2 different aspects to your manifesting style – specific/nonspecific and active/passive.

So for example, I am an active, nonspecific manifestor. You could be passive/specific, active/specific, passive/nonspecific, etc!

SPECIFIC vs. NONSPECIFIC

I’m a nonspecific manifestor because my bottom right arrow (perspective) is facing RIGHT.

Look at the bottom right arrow in your Human Design chart.

If it’s facing LEFT, you’re a specific manifestor. You’re meant to get as clear as possible on the details of what you want – and then don’t settle for anything less. This helps the universe give you what you’re meant for!

If it’s facing RIGHT, you’re a NONSPECIFIC manifestor, you’re not built for those details. Forcing them is going to stress your mind out more than anything! You’ll get the absolute best-case scenario by giving the universe a general idea + trusting it to fill in the blanks.

(Don’t know which you are? Can’t find your arrows? Check out this article or listen to this podcast episode to learn more.)

ACTIVE vs. PASSIVE

Look at the bottom left arrow in your Human Design chart.

If it’s facing LEFT, you’re an ACTIVE manifestor, it’s going to help you a lot to spend time happily fantasizing about what you want to manifest. Dream about it, think about it, wonder about it, etc. Feeling more “involved” in the manifesting process helps it come to you faster.

(NOTE: If you’re also nonspecific, know that even though you might be thinking about it a lot – these are all just stories. It’s more the act of fantasizing than having the actual details that matters here. For example, you might be dreaming all the time about a red corvette but end up manifesting a black BMW that you love even better!)

If it’s facing RIGHT, you’re a PASSIVE manifestor, it’s the opposite for you. Once you have the idea/general idea, you’re meant for mucho detachment. Put it into a bubble, let it float away… and omg! There’s that thing you wanted all the sudden. Cool!

2. Just be open.

In my opinion, this is really the #1 way we block ourselves from getting what we want – by believing it’s not possible.

But I’ll tell you what I tell all of my clients: If you don’t believe it’s possible, it never will be.

If you don’t believe it’s possible, you can’t be open to it. If you’re not open to it, how could you possibly have room for the universe to send it to you?

Open your mind and ask yourself: If I KNEW what I wanted could come to me, how would I think about this differently?

3. Know that a lot of the time… all you have to do is ASK.

It really can be that easy, but most of the time we don’t trust that. The universe wants you to be happy. It wants you to thrive.

It wants you to have your soul’s truest desires… and it’s just waiting for you to ask.

In fact, I write letters to the universe every single day asking for what I want.

Of course, it might show up in a different way than you were expecting, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have it!

4. Speed up the process by soaking in + enjoying the goodness you have right now.

In the past, I was scared that if I didn’t keep my eyes on the prize for what I wanted to manifest, it would never happen – because I was SO sure that if I did that, I was telling the universe I was “fine with what I had” and I’d never manifest what I wanted.

So, I kept pushing pushing pushing and thinking about what I’d have next, never living in the moment or slowing down to really enjoy what I had. I thought if I did that, things wouldn’t change.

No! That’s the opposite of how it works.

As you probably know, one of the basics of manifestation is that “Like attracts like.” That means the more you get into the vibration of what you want right now, the easier it is to attract it.

That also means that appreciating what you have now WILL NOT block you from what you want – it just puts you into the vibration of happiness and allowing, which *speeds up* the process!

This is why gratitude is preached all the time in manifestation.

So whatever you are happy about right now… FOCUS on that, and you pave the path for more things that make you feel that way to come to you!

5. Detach, detach, detach.

This applies no matter your energy type, your manifesting style, or whatever you have in your chart.

At a certain point, you have to trust that the universe has got your back.

A watched manifestation pot never boils (.. manifests? IDK). Worrying about it, constantly wondering, or fretting is not going to make it happen. If it’s meant for you, it will be yours, so once you know what you want (or have a general idea), it’s time to step back and allow the magic to happen!

6. Be very, very open to the “how.”

We can frustrate our own manifestation process by thinking that just because we can’t see how it’ll come true, or we’re too attached to one way of it coming to us.

For specific manifestors, you need to remind yourself that SO MUCH MORE is possible than what people have told us, or what our mind can see right now.

EXAMPLE:

My mother has always wanted a beautiful little beach house, and when she found San Diego, she KNEW that’s where she wanted to be – but she was told by lots of people how impossible it would be to find that, because the housing market is super cutthroat and her requirements were “too specific.”

Then, one day after a year of searching, she randomly drove through a neighborhood and saw a FOR SALE sign. She and my dad put in an offer that day, and by the end of the month she had her dream house!

For nonspecific manifestors, you need to be very open to surprising and seemingly “unrelated” ways something might come to you. Many times, things like money won’t come from the most obvious sources for us.

EXAMPLE:

A few years ago, I wanted to go on a surf trip to Mexico. It was going to cost about $600, and I wanted to make some money to cover that – so, I asked to manifest more copywriting gigs (my job at the time) to make the $600.

However, VERY soon after that, I got a check in the mail for my tax return… which I’d totally forgotten about. The amount? $616.

I’ve heard so many stories like this from other people, too, like a woman in one of my mastermind groups who wanted to make a few extra thousand dollars a month… and actually ended up manifesting that through her HUSBAND who got a raise right after.

7. Trust that the universe knows the best time for you to have something – and that might not be right this moment.

I’ve noticed this is the hardest thing for most of us to do… because most of us, like I said before, have major trust issues with the universe.

But I’ll leave you with a story to show the importance of this lesson:

Right now, I’m writing this blog post from Costa Rica. Which is super cool (and one of my favorite manifestations to date!).

But what most people don’t know is I’ve been trying to get here for like 5 years.

Several times, I put together plans, made flights, booked hostels, EVERYTHING, and each time…

It just wouldn’t work out.

Plans would fall through. People cancelled. I got sick, or went through time when I really needed to be home. Oh! Or there was a pandemic.

For a long time, I was like, “Uh, WTF? Why won’t the universe let me have this? I KNOW I want it!”

Looking back, though, I know I was totally not ready all those other times.

I didn’t even actually FEEL ready at the time. I just thought I had to force things or they wouldn’t happen.

Plus, I hadn’t even met my really good friends who are now on this trip with me. I wasn’t as good as a surfer, so I wouldn’t have enjoyed the surf here as much. I know I wouldn’t have had HALF the fun – or half the ease – had I done it in 2017!

It’s been the same thing with my business, with romantic relationships, with moving house, with literally everything. So many times I’ve thought I was ready for something and my life would be SO MUCH better if I just had it, already. Yet I realized after, sometimes pretty soon after, that other things needed to fall into place for it to happen in a much, much better way.

Sometimes, good things take time. The universe wants you to have the BEST possible version for yourself… so it just might be a little later than right now.

When you can see that it’s all divinely timed or a part of what astrologer Tosha Silver calls The Divine Order, you start to see that it’s all in your benefit.

Love + joy,

Ariana
